Why is nothing running?
The handful of reasons work pauses, and how to tell them apart in under a minute.
Work pausing is usually deliberate. Here is how to tell which kind of pause you are in.

| Everything looks fine, nothing moves | Concurrency limit — work is queued | Wait, or raise the tier |
The one-minute check
- Dashboard — is anything under Needs your action?
- Dashboard — is anything under Recently awoken? If yes, the system is running; your specific item is queued or waiting.
- Tasks — do any chips carry a count?
- Settings → Billing — active plan, and a balance above zero?

What pausing never means
- It does not mean work was lost. Paused work resumes.
- It does not mean something sent anyway. Nothing leaves your workspace without approval.
