Getting started

Read your Dashboard

Tell what needs you apart from what is simply running.

About 4 minutes

The Foreman Dashboard showing the getting-set-up checklist with one of eight steps complete
The Dashboard while a workspace is still being set up. Each step offers both doors — do it yourself, or hand it to your Chief of Staff.

The Dashboard is your morning briefing. It answers one question: where is my attention actually needed?

The regions

Getting set up — while your workspace is still being set up, this sits at the top: what's done, what's left, and both ways to do each step. It disappears once you're set up, and you can bring it back from Settings → Notifications.

Needs your action — the only genuinely urgent region. Drafts to approve, questions an agent got stuck on, records it wants to confirm. If it's empty, nothing is blocked on you.

Recently awoken — work that started on its own: scheduled reviews, recurring scans, agents picking up objectives. This is how you see the system running without you.

Recently updated — what changed since yesterday, newest first.

Gotchas

  • Empty "Needs your action" means nothing is blocked, not that nothing is happening. Check Recently awoken to see what's running.
  • The stat tiles are counts, not queues. Click one to get to the surface that lets you act.
