Turn an opportunity into an objective
When winning a deal is a project, not a message.
Some deals need more than outreach — a proposal, a pricing analysis, a security questionnaire, a pilot plan. That is an objective.
Steps
- Open the opportunity.
- Choose Create objective.
- Check the scope, then approve.
You're done when an objective exists linked to the deal.
Why link them
The objective stays attached to the deal, so its deliverables are findable from the record — and when someone asks "what did we send them", the answer is on the deal rather than in somebody's memory.
Gotchas
- Not every deal needs one. A follow-up is a touch, not a project.
