Give one agent a different model

Routing normally picks per task. You can override it for one agent.

When it is justified

An observed, repeated quality problem on one function — a copy specialist whose output is consistently flat, say. Fix it narrowly, and revisit it later.

When it is not

"The expensive model is better." Across a whole agent that is usually false and always costly: most of what any agent does is routine, and running routine work on a frontier model buys nothing.

Steps

1. Open Team and select the agent.
2. Set its model configuration.
3. Compare output on the same kind of task before and after.
4. Remove the override if it did not change anything.

You're done when you can point at output that improved.

Gotchas

• An override outlives the problem. Note why you set it; six months later nobody remembers.
