Install the browser extension
One-click pairing, no copy-pasted keys.
The extension adds two things to your browser: a docked Studio chat beside your dev preview, and a compliant LinkedIn assist.
Steps
- Install the Foreman extension in Chrome or Edge.
- Open the side panel and click Connect.
- It opens Foreman's pairing page and your normal sign-in takes over. A scoped key is minted and handed to the extension — nothing to copy and paste.
- Grant the host permission when prompted. Chrome requires that to be a real click, which is why it is a separate step.
You're done when the side panel shows your workspace.
Gotchas
- The key is scoped, not your session. It covers Studio chat and LinkedIn assist and nothing else, and it can be reissued without reinstalling.
- Manual pairing still exists for self-hosted setups the one-click flow cannot reach.
