Business profile
The grounding every agent writes from.
Your business profile is not paperwork. It is the context injected into the prompt of every agent that writes anything for you — outreach, posts, replies, reports. A thin profile produces generic output; that is the single most common reason a first deliverable underwhelms.
What it holds
The basics — business name, what you do, your industry. Without these your agents either write generically or stop to ask.
The detail that changes copy — who you sell to, your value proposition, the problems your customers actually have, how you solve them, what you offer, and your current goals.
Steps
- Open Settings → Business Profile, or just tell your Chief of Staff about your business in Chat — it records what you say.
- Fill the basics first.
- Add at least three of the detail fields. Be specific: "operations leads at UK manufacturers with 50–200 staff" beats "businesses".
- Come back and sharpen it after you have read a few deliverables. You will spot what was missing far more easily then.
You're done when a drafted message references something true about your business that you did not put in the request.
Gotchas
- Specificity beats completeness. Three sharp fields outperform eight vague ones.
- This is business voice, not your personal voice. Those are kept separate — see Skills and the writing-voice step in Getting started.
