Automation and routines
Recurring work that runs without anyone starting it.
Three related things live near each other, and they are worth telling apart.

Steps
- Open Settings → Automation.
- Add a routine for anything you currently remember to ask for — a Monday pipeline review, a Friday summary.
- For event-driven work, use Automations under Operations, which lists the triggers your connected tools expose.
- Give it a week, then check what it produced. Prune anything you are not reading.
You're done when something useful lands without you asking for it.
Gotchas
- Recurring work still meters. A daily objective is a daily spend. Start weekly.
- An automation on a disconnected tool never fires. It fails quietly by design, because the alternative is alerting you every hour about a tool you removed on purpose.
